How to toilet train my daughter.

Hi IMs,
I have a 3.5 year old daughter who has been toilet trained since she was 2, the problem is only twice has she done number 2s on the potty and since has always nagged for a nappy to do her business. We are at the stage where she doesn't need one for bed but she does for 2s. I have tried reward charts, not putting nappy on (which turned into a 3 day stand off), bribery(every day). Has anyone got any suggestions? Or what worked for you?

I've toilet trained a number of kids who want to poo in nappies. Firstly check she isn't constipated. Secondly insist that she wear the nappy in a set area, the toilet room. She can be anywhere in the room but has to do her poo in that room. Once she is doing that without any problems then you can expect her to sit/stand/squat on the toilet while wearing her apply still. Some kids will at some point decide that because they are in the bathroom anyway they might as well go on the loo. Other kids will accidentally poo while peeing and that's enough to get them going. Once she can go in her nappy on the toilet then you take the nappy away.
I wouldn't stress about it pooing can take a lot longer than peeing and as long as it is sorted before school it will be ok.
