* Rant warning *
I'm at my wits end right now. My girls (age 6.5 & 9) do nothing but whinge, moan & fight. The little one has Asperger's (so everything is about her) and my eldest has chronic constipation issues that we are trying to get under control.
They constantly push each other's buttons and are either hugging each other or hitting & screaming at each other.
Yes we see a nutritionist.
Yes, I've changed their diets (no artificial anything or preservatives, no numbers, limited wheat, etc..)
Yes we see a child psychologist.
Yes we see a gastroentologist.
Yes our lives are a series of doctors appointments atm.
In addition to this they don't listen to me unless I'm "angry mummy". I'm sick of having to be a bitch in order to be heard! My partner isn't their biological dad, has only been their stepdad for a couple of years and was an only child so he doesn't know how to deal with it. He's stressed, I'm stressed, the kids are stressed.... and it's not even the silly season yet!

Divide them up. Less time together means less arguing, and only one child to concentrate on.
When you want them to do something, make sure you are eye balling them. Make it a short simple instruction. Count to three in your head, if they haven't done it say 'I said.....' Then take them by the hand to do it. They will realise pretty quick that they might as well do what they were asked.
